A quick way to install WordPress on the localhost (XAMPP) Server by step IADM student

What is WordPress?

 WordPress is an open-source software   

WordPress is a content management system (CMS) that allows you to build a website. WordPress consists of plugins and a template portfolio. WordPress is used to make a website. Personal site, service website, E-commerce page, online store on Google through the website.  

Steps for installation of WordPress on Localhost

·       Install WordPress need for (XAMPP)
·       Start the module and test your server on the control panel
·       Download WordPress from Google
·        Localhost(XAMPP) setup in Download WordPress
·       Create the database configuration
·       Run & complete WordPress

·       STEP 1: Install WordPress need for  (XAMPP)

When we install WordPress .org an app on your computer. The app needs a localhost (XAMPP) server to work on WordPress after installing WordPress. XAMPP is a server.

And free installer for any person.it is easy to use.

 

 

 

WordPress localhost for (XAMPP) server 

 

 

 

Version;

7.4.29/PHP 7.4.29 Download XAMPP (64-bit) depends upon the latest version of bits of the computer.

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Start the module and test your server on the control panel

         

 After downloading open the (XAMMP) on your computer. To work on WordPress, running the process of XAMMP. We need: 

·       Apache

·       MYSQL

·       click the Apache and MYSQL .show that behind the picture.

Apache and MYSQL are the database server that rushing now so, which means that is localhost.

 

 

 

    Step 3: Download WordPress from Google
             There are two kinds of WordPress.

·       WordPress.com

·       WordPress.org

                                 

To download WordPress we do a Google search. Download WordPress, then click on the website and open the page https://wordpress.org/download/.

·     Open the page when we press the get WordPress button.

Then scroll the page and get the option of Download WordPress 6.0 and after clicking rushing the process of downloading. When the downloading is completed the C-PANL file goes into XAMPP.

                             

 

 

              

 

               

 

Step 4: Localhost (XAMPP) setup in Download WordPress

 

 And this file opens in htdocs. As shown behind the picture.

PROCEDURE

We open the C-PANL and get the file XAMPP and then clicking on open the directory of XAMPP is htdocs.

      

        

·     Click the htdocs a directory shows that the WordPress.

 

 

 

 

·     Right the click on the WordPress Zip file then click on extract files.

 

·      Change the name of WordPress its means Rename, according to Brand.

        

      Step 5: create database configuration  

And then have need database install the WordPress in the localhost (XAMPP) server due to it all data is stored in the database as shown below diagram. For this, we have to need to open the localhost/PhpMyAdmin in a Tab.

 

Now that PHPMYADMIN is open then we will need to create a database by clicking on new as shown in the above picture.

 

The creation will be open after clicking on the new database then we will type the name on the database and click on the create button then it will be created and on the Right side, the name of the database will appear PHPMyAdmin as shown above picture.   

 

                Search the new tab

                    WordPress is now placed on the local host (XAMPP) server and typed for the database configurations then type on the browser localhost/favouritenameofthefolder

 Like my favorite name

 After typing this it will take you to the WordPress configuration page.

·      Or ask you to choose your language

After clicking on the continue button next page opens then we create the database, as shown in the behind picture. 

                

 

NOW we will Install WordPress in the database and next step press the button let’s go!

·      The next page open, as shown behind the picture,

Now we enter data according to the database, enter the database name, always Username is the root in a database, then enter the database Host and password is empty, its means blank section. Complete data enter then press the Submit button.

 

 

 

Step 6: Run complete Installation of WordPress
 

After that, a window will open with the button to run the installation then click on the Run Install button. AS shown that the below the picture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now both the database and WordPress are connected. A new form is provided on the next page and then fill out the form and write the site title, username, password, and email, and click on the installation WordPress button, as shown in the picture behind. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remember username or Email and password are used to login the WordPress. 

 

    

After the whole procedure, our WordPress is successfully installed, and press the login button as shown above picture.

·                     Now add your login details

 

 

 

            

If you do not log out the WordPress so you type on browser: localhost/favnameofthefolder/wp-admin/and directly open the dashboard of WordPress. WordPress dashboard is open now. 

 

 

   

 

 

 

The installation of WordPress is the complete database
